Cerebral
Cerebral is a drug that consists of 3 substances: Kavalactone extract, Piperine, and N-Methyl-Cyclazodone.
Kavalactone extract, Kavа – is a plant of the nightshade family in the South Pacific islands. People have long used for relaxation; a tropical evergreen shrub with the scientific name Piper methysticum. It is now known for its relaxing, stress-relieving properties and an alternative substitute for certain anxiety medications or antidepressants. Often, similar medications and antidepressants are taken to reduce stress-related insomnia.
It is made after crushing its roots and mixing the mixture with water. The active ingredients, kavalactones, make up 3–20% of the plant root’s dry weight. They act on neurotransmitters in the brain and thus produce the desired effects:
- reduce anxiety
- reduce pain
- protect neurons from damage
Kava is available as a tea, capsule, powder, or liquid. All of these products except tea are made by concentrating the mixture (prepared by extracting kavalactones from the plant root with ethanol or acetone).
The effective dose of kavalactones is 70–250 mg. It is recommended that the daily amount should not exceed 250 mg. Be vigilant when taking kava if you have liver problems, in which case the extract can only harm. People with healthy livers have not experienced this problem. Also, beware of counterfeiting: using leaves or stems instead of roots in the drug’s preparation can also cause liver problems.
Piperine is the alkaloid responsible for the pungency of black pepper, Piper nigrum, and Piper longum(long pepper): black pepper and long pepper are widely used in the traditional system of medicine, and Piperine, an active alkaloid, is used as a magnifier. It is a water-insoluble solid that leaves a bitter aftertaste; used as a food supplement or medicine. Piperine (5, 10, and 20 mg/kg body weight) exhibited anticonvulsant activity, delayed the onset of tonic-clonic seizures, and demonstrated anti-anxiety activity.
Piperine is used to treat indigestion, insomnia, heart-related diseases, and depression. It can be administered at a dose of 15-20 mg per person per day in divided doses. Combining Piperine with a drug, side effects and drug toxicity can be reduced by lowering the amount and increasing availability at the site of action. The remedy can be used in conjunction with drugs with low ADMET levels to increase bioavailability, minimize dose, and obtain synergistic effects in treating various disease states.
N-Methyl-Cyclazodone is a stimulant substance used to combat depression, increase mental tone, improve concentration and attention. It is an amphetamine-like agonist of TAAR1, a key regulator of dopamine, serotonin, and noradrenaline that produces stimulating and focus enhancing effects. The agonism of these receptors leads to cognitive and physical stimulation within the user.
The substance exhibits powerful antidepressant properties and shows the activity of stimulants of the central nervous system. Compliance with a nutritious diet, adherence to sleep, and exercise intensity ensure the drug’s maximum effect. If you follow these guidelines, the positive impacts include:
- the body is saturated with vitamins and minerals
- improved blood circulation
- clarity of mind and focus
- increased endurance
- increased concentration of attention and mood
The substance will not harm the body or cause serious side effects if used as directed, but caution should be exercised with dosages and do not exceed the recommended dose. The dosage varies from 5 to 40 mg; more than 40 mg can harm the liver.
